After a long hiatus, I'm trying to resurrect my blog again. I always wanted to blog regularly but life happened and I got very busy with some stuffs... :D
Hopefully, I could start blogging again as I'm itching to write about my travel posts.
Last month, me and my friend Janeth, attended the wedding of our former colleague Alvin in Malaysia. It was our first time attending a Chinese wedding so we were not sure with the do's & dont's of such event. Luckily, the bride and groom's family are not conservative Chinese so they were not that strict with the customs and traditions. I think this may also be due to their Malay lineage.
The wedding venue was at Glenmarie Holiday Inn so for convenience, we decided to book there. Aside from Alvin's wedding, another highlight of our trip was when we got upgraded to a loft-type suite which opens up to an amazing view of their golfcourse!
It was a fun wedding and we were so happy to see our colleague, who is dear to us, got hitched. We witnessed how Alvin loves his then-gf now wife so we were really excited for him. We were actually joking that he was more hands-on with the wedding preps than his wife lol.
Before retunring back to SG, we were contemplating of having a quick tour of KL but we realized we were very time-constrained. We finally decided to just head straight to the airport. Nevertheless, we had a blast with our trip.
