On the third day, we were supposed to go to Mt. Buller for our first snow mountain experience. Sadly, we decided not to go as my Mom got a li'l sick from the cold weather, and we were not in the mood to wake up so early for the trip. I already booked the tour and it's a bit on the expensive side but sleeping in that morning was more attractive to us. We went out late that day and decided we head to Belgrave station to do the Puffing Billy train ride. We arrived there way past noon and was saddened we didn't make it to the last trip. My backup plan was to go to St. Nicholas Garden as the bus stop was just outside the Belgrave station. Unfortunately, we missed the last bus as well. We had no choice but to go back to CBD for lunch. We then went to Fitzroy Garden as it is just a tram ride from CBD. The garden is huge and beautiful! Although the weather was gloomy at that time, it didn't diminished the beauty of the place. My daughter enjoyed running around the place. I can tell my Mom loved the place too. We also passed by the famous Capt. Cook's Cottage though we didn't enter as we felt we didn't have enough time to roam the entire place. The cottage was so pretty from the outside and surely adds to the Victorian charm of the garden.
