Melbourne, Australia 2015: Melbourne CBD, Queen Victoria Market & Tesselaar Tulip Festival9/13/2016 We made our way to Queen Victoria Market in the morning of our last day in Melbourne. I think my mom enjoyed it here. The market is so large and very clean. The entire place is sectioned with different kinds of goods. I especially liked the fruits and cheese section. Everything looked fresh! Queen Victoria MarketMelbourne CBDWe also took the chance to roam around the CBD area.. Tesselaar Tulip FestivalAfter our lunch, we went back to the hotel to change and do our checkout. It was our last day in Melbourne and our flight was in the evening. Alto allowed us to store our luggages while we went to the Tesselaar Festival. It is a yearly festival in Melbourne where they display various types of tulips! We boarded a train from Southern Cross to Lilydale station. Outside the train station, we took the Tesselaar Tulip Festival shuttle bus, which usually arrives 5 mins after arrival of the train. The shuttle costs $3/return ticket and it only runs Saturday and Sunday. If you go there Monday-Friday, you can take the Route 663 Bus from Lilydale Station to the Tesselaar Tulip Festival. There were a lot of people and a lot of food/souvenir stalls. The tulips were lined in a huge field. It was lovely! There was also a mini train which traveled around the field. We really had fun in Tesselaar! We wished we could have spent more time there. We then board the same shuttle and took the train from Lilydale station back to CBD to catch our flight to Sydney. I really love Melbourne. I am just thankful we were given a chance to live here. It is everything I imagined and more. I can't wait to move here permanently.
